PRIVACY POLICY
Who We Are
We’re Sagarix LLC, and our website lives at saguarix.com. We’re committed to protecting your privacy and making your experience on our site secure and transparent.
Comments
When you leave a comment, we collect the information you provide in the form — along with your IP address and browser type — to help prevent spam.
An anonymized version of your email (called a hash) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check if you use it. You can read their privacy policy here: automattic.com/privacy.
Once your comment is approved, your profile image becomes visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to our site, please avoid including files that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can sometimes download images and extract that data.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies — a small convenience so you don’t have to type them again later. These cookies last for one year.
When you log in, we’ll set temporary cookies to check if your browser accepts them. We also store cookies to remember your login and screen settings. Login cookies last two days; screen preference cookies last one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will stay active for two weeks. When you log out, those cookies are removed automatically.
If you edit or publish an article, a cookie will store the post ID you worked on. It expires after one day and contains no personal data.
Embedded Content
Articles on this site may include videos, images, or other media embedded from external websites. These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, or include third-party tracking. Your interaction with that content works the same as if you visited those sites directly.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security verification.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Comments and their related information are kept indefinitely, allowing us to recognize and approve future comments automatically.
If you create an account, we store the personal information you provide in your profile. You can view, edit, or delete your information at any time (except your username). Site administrators can also view and manage that information.
Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account or have left comments, you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you — including anything you’ve shared with us. You may also ask us to delete that data, except for information we’re legally required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked using automated spam-detection tools to help keep our site safe and free from unwanted content.
